SIG Wins TrenAsia ESG Excellence Awards 2022 from TrenAsia.Com

PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) won the TrenAsia ESG Excellence Awards 2022 for the Action category Cement rating from the media TrenAsia.com. The award was presented by the CEO of TrenAsia, Sukirno to the Chief of Strategy of SIG, Antonius Ardian Bermana at The Ritz-Carlton, Jakarta, Wednesday (19/10).

The TrenAsia ESG Excellence Awards 2022 is given to companies that strive to fulfill the aspects and uphold the values ​​of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) in their business. The assessment system is carried out on the ESG variable consisting of environmental variables including sustainable products and innovations, energy use, waste management, natural resources and greenhouse gas emissions. Social variables include employee development, employment practices and environmental social impacts. Furthermore, the governance variable includes the protection of shareholder rights, sustainable management practices, quality and disclosure of information and business ethics.
