We have a variety of inclusive programs related to providing benefits to the community. In addition to empowering the community around the factory, we also seek to reach out to anyone who needs help.

We have established a CSR Department under the Corporate Secretary. This department is in charge of the implementation of CSR and PKBL (Partnership and Community Development Program). The task of this department is to plan and manage CSR and PKBL programs, in addition to evaluating and preparing financial reports for these programs.

Our CSR program is based on the harmonization of the triple bottom line (profit, planet, people) and the concept of SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).

 

Partnership Program

In accordance with SDGs No. 8 (to support inclusive and sustainable economic growth, employment and decent work for all), we strengthen internal systems at SIG, involve community partners in MSME exhibitions or events, conduct training for community partners, and others.

Community Development Program

CSR activities focus on the commitment to maintain environmental sustainability. We also maximize social support through community involvement, community development, and partnership programs. In addition, we allocate funds that can be used by the community for emergencies or for development efforts (for example when a natural disaster occurs or for the establishment of arts and cultural facilities, health improvement, construction of places of worship, and so on).
