PT Semen Tonasa is one of the largest cement producers in Eastern Indonesia. Operates an integrated cement factory with a capacity of 7.4 million tons/year in Pangkep Regency, South Sulawesi. On September 15, 1995, the company was consolidated with PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) with 99.99% share ownership.

Supported by a distribution network that is spread and has cement packing factories spread across Eastern Indonesia, including in Makassar (South Sulawesi), Bitung (North Sulawesi), Palu (Central Sulawesi), Mamuju (West Sulawesi), Kendari (Southeast Sulawesi), Ambon (Maluku), Oba (North Maluku), Samarinda and Balikpapan (East Kalimantan) and Sorong (West Papua). Apart from that, it has other supporting operations in the form of a Steam Power Plant (PLTU) utility with a capacity of 2 x 25 MW and 2 x 35 MW.
